This page is our way of saying "Thanks" to veterans,
past and present. They give so much and ask for so
little in return. It is because of them that we are
able to live our lives in relative peace and enjoy the
freedoms that we take for granted in the US. No
matter how you feel about war, the American Soldier is
always ready, able, and willing to make the necessary
sacrifices to get the job done to protect our way of life.
We need to do our part to let them know how much we
appreciate them and support them when they need us.
Below you will find links to several organizations that
support veterans. Please visit them to see how you
can help.
"Let's Say Thanks" is a nationwide joint-partnership
program between XEROX and Give2TheTroops.
The program allows citizens across the nation to recognize
U.S. troops stationed overseas by sending them free
postcards! All cards are then sent to
Give2TheTroops nine branches and then forwarded
overseas to our deployed troops.
(Overseas postage costs are paid by Give2TheTroops.)

Give2TheTroops supports our troops by raising money and
assembling item donations to be sent to our troops
overseas.
PLEASE HELP
They need donations to send the care packages. Their funds
are low and they have more than 20,000 troops waiting for
their help. The packages are ready to ship, but they need
your financial support to ship them.
Operation
Gratitude (based in California) is a non-profit,
all-volunteer organization which seeks to lift troops'
morale, and bring a smile to their faces by sending care
packages to individual service members overseas.
Give2TheTroops is proud to contribute to their
Mission.
"America Supports You" is a nationwide program
launched by the Department of Defense, which recognizes
citizens' support for our military men and women and
communicates that support to members of our Armed Forces
at home and abroad. Give2TheTroops is
proud to be part of this special program and honored by
their endorsement.
The Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) is a
Department of Defense organization promoting cooperation
and understanding between National Guard and Reserve
members and their civilian employers and resolving
conflicts which may arise from an employee's military
commitment.
The Connecticut ESGR Committee
directly sponsors and endorses Give2TheTroops.
MyTownHall.info links people with community resources and
local businesses to enhance the support services provided
to residents and merchants in each community. They've been
a large contributor to Give2TheTroops
getting the word out about our volunteer opportunities and
events.
Heavenly Wood Works, Inc. was founded by Marlena Marchesi,
who believes that a little hope often goes a long way. The
company designs wooden boxes - called "My God Box" and "My
Prayer Box". They have donated HUNDREDS of their products
to the Give2TheTroops
organization. Give2TheTroops strongly
believes these boxes will help our troops and their family
members find spiritual comfort in everyday life.

These calendars contain hilarious comics that poke fun at
the challenging situations soldiers face in the military.
The idea was developed by illustrator SPC Kevin Riha
(a Give2TheTroops
care package recipient) and MSG Terrance Popp, both
Army Veterans. They regularly donate calendars to
Give2TheTroops.
Auto Donation Depot LLC accepts cars on behalf of
Give2TheTroops, Inc. Please consider donating
your car as another tax-exempt way to help our charity!
